RANCHING IN THE WILDERNESS
Goosewing Ranch combines the lifestyle of ranching in the wilderness with modern
refinements. This is an opportunity to experience a corner of North America's wildest country
as it has been for over a hundred years. At an elevation of 7,000ft, this Resort/Guest ranch is an isolated retreat deep in the heart of the Gros Ventre River Valley and is host to elk, moose, bear and
eagles, not to mention spectacular scenery.
RIDING OR RELAXING
Riding at the Goosewing is organised for the week with trail rides and fast rides through some
of the most breathtaking countryside. Horses are matched to each riders ability. There is time
set aside for fishing, hiking, relaxing by the swimming pool and in the ranch's hot tub or taking
a trip into Jackson Hole for sightseeing and shopping.
CHILD-FRIENDLY
Children are welcomed at the Goosewing Ranch and even get a chance to star in the kids'
rodeo. The children's programme provides up to two hours of activities per day including arts
& crafts, nature hikes, pony rides and lawn games. Babysitting is also available for an
additional cost.
COMFORTABLE CABINS
Accommodation is set in private, comfortable cabins while the main lodge serves as a central
gathering place for dining and relaxing. An excellent wine cellar complements an eclectic
seasonal menu with themed dinners, which include an Italian night, Mexican night, cowboy
cookout, wild game night, barbecue night and angler night. Once a week there is a Dutch
oven cookout over an open fire with wagon rides and live entertainment.
Prices are per person based on two people sharing a one-bedroom cabin for 7 nights including full board, return flights from London (economy) and return ranch transfers. Gratuities are included.
