The Island Guest Ranch founded in 1889 during the Cherokee Strip Land Run is a 4th generation 3,000-acre working cattle ranch and is located in northwestern Oklahoma along the banks of the historic Cimarron River.
Horseback riding offers a great opportunity to view the abundant wildlife. Relax in the swimming pool, or try your hand at fishing, trap shooting, horseshoes and volleyball. Guests have an opportunity to try team penning, roping and working with the cattle. Evening entertainment could be an evening trail ride, square dancing, an Indian Pow Wow, rodeo or country and western dancing.
