Twin Centre in san Antonio and Mayan Dude Ranch from £1290pp
Located north of San Antonio the ranch features almost 350 acres of trails, which snake
through the lowlands of the Medina River, populated by oak, cedar and mesquite trees. The
ranch has been operated by the Hicks family for 50 years and they offer traditional Texan
hospitality and a friendly environment.
The Mayan is ideal for children and novices. The mares and well-trained ponies ride in single
file over trails and countryside. There is a casual atmosphere and often entertainment, music
and roping demonstrations in the evenings. The stone cabin accommodation is comfortable,
but simply furnished.
