Price Canyon is located in a canyon surrounded by the Chiricahua Mountains, whose peaks
top 9,000 feet, as well as National Forest and peaceful countryside. Originally built in 1879,
Price Canyon is a working cattle ranch with almost 15,000 acres of land with some
spectacular views.
There are vast expanses of open grasslands and canyons have an abundance of Cypress,
Madrona and several varieties of pine. At Price Canyon you will experience real ranch life and
guests are encouraged to become a part of the day-to-day activities, which means helping
with the chores. This includes rounding up the Longhorn cattle, riding with the wrangler to
look for strays, weaning cattle and checking water pipes and ranch boundaries. There are ten
spacious and attractive guest rooms, all with private bathrooms, CD player, refrigerator and a
coffee maker. Three family style meals are served each day.
