There is no better place to explore the legacy of the western frontier and a real ranch experience than at Sun Rock Ranch. Situated on 3,000 acres on the western edge of the Kansas Flint Hills, this is an authentic family-owned working horse and cattle ranch with an informal and friendly atmosphere.
The Sun Rock was built in 1877 and is near historic Fort Riley, which was in 'Indian Territory' (as Kansas was known back then) to provide military protection from Indian raids. Horseback riding is taken in the mornings and afternoons along with working cattle, and imprinting newborn foals (depending on the season). Comfortable accommodation is set in the main ranch house with shared facilities.
Price Includes:
Prices are per person based on two people sharing a double room for 7 nights including full board, return flights from London (economy) and return ranch transfers. Gratuities are £55 per person.
