The Sundance Ranch is situated in British Colombia’s high country, with magnificient scenery and clear fresh air – a genuine bit of the old West. Yet it is only four hours by car from Vancouver. A vast choice of horses are available from chestnuts, sorrels, bays, pintos and appaloosas – everything from gentle trail horses to lively, frisky mounts, all with good Western gear.
The Sundance is an authentic working ranch with spring and fall roundups. Horses are what the Sundance is all about, but there are plenty of other activities to choose from, swimming (Sundance is located on one of the sunniest spots in Canada), tennis, pool, and Saturday night dancing. All rooms are air conditioned with private bath or showers. Meals are varied to satisfy all tastes, there’s something about the aroma of a roast sizzling on an outdoor spit that makes the Sundance adventure unforgettable.
