Ranch Season - April-Sept
Oklahoma is a state of beautiful contrasts: from the rugged Wichita mountains to the lush pine forests of the Green Country, you'll find nature on a big scale. It can also lay claim to being 'Native America', with the largest population of Native American Indians from over 67 tribes. Oklahoma is something of a microcosm of the history of the American West. Land grabs, homesteaders, oil booms and the Depression all happened here, and the state is traversed by over 400 miles of the historic Route 66 or 'Mother Road'.
